PRE-CONSTRUCTION

We believe the most important aspects of a project are handled before work even starts. At MAY, we pride ourselves on providing unmatched pre-construction services. We provide comprehensive planning and consideration of key components of our clients’ projects including schedule, budget and constructability. By doing this, MAY consistently exceeds clients’ expectations.

Our pre-construction services include, but not limited to:

  • Executive level participation in all design and coordination meetings
  • Preparation of master schedule with design and permitting milestones
  • Constructability reviews
  • Conceptual budgeting and interim cost updates
  • Value engineering

CONSTRUCTION

Successfully overseeing complex construction projects from start to finish requires experience, a team approach, excellent management and communication skills, and a great deal of dedication. MAY brings all of these attributes to every project, coordinating the many activities taking place on a job, and keeping all participants working in concert toward a successful end product.

Our construction services include, but not limited to:

  • Regular construction status meetings to keep team informed of status
  • Updated construction schedule to reflect progress
  • Quality control inspections to ensure projects are conforming to the design
  • Coordination of owner-contracted vendors
  • Inspection of the space prior to owner occupancy to identify and correct any outstanding/incomplete items
  • Owner training of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment that requires “beyond standard” maintenance
  • Preparation of project close-out documents
  • Providing customers with as built drawings for record

At, MAY we are well versed in implementing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), green building, and sustainable construction practices. Our project teams are trained in sustainable processes, and we work diligently to ensure that those standards are maintained.

  • Applying Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), green building, and sustainable construction

  • Assistance in selecting the appropriate green materials for each project

  • Construction waste management plans

  • Indoor air quality plans
